Prosecutors say Samson Lucas Bariah Fussner made "inflammatory comments about immigrants, African Americans, and Jews" in the days leading up to July 4.

The man who authorities say tried to carry out a mass shooting in Yellowstone National Park last year spewed racist views months before his attempted attack, prosecutors said in court documents.

One of Yellowstone National Park’s oldest gray wolves, a one-eyed matriarch dubbed 907F, has died after sustaining wounds in a fight with a rival pack. Affectionately named “queen of the wolves”, 907F lived to the grand age of 11 – exceptionally long for a wild canid – and birthed an astonishing 10 litters in her time.
