Police say they are at the scene of a crash “involving a number of vehicles” on the M5 motorway near Belfast. It has been reported that up to six vehicles are involved in the collision. The M5 has been closed between Greencastle and Rushpark.

Friday traffic delays have kicked off on the M5 in Somerset after a crash. Traffic is queuing in the southbound direction between Clevedon and Portishead after a crash and fuel spillage on the motorway.

Four people have been taken to hospital following a crash involving six vehicles on the M5 near Belfast. The collision happened on the motorway between Greencastle and Rushpark Roundabout on Saturday at around 1pm.

There were heavy delays on the M5 Southbound near Worcester following a four vehicle crash between Junction 7 and 8.

The lane is shut between junction 27 for Tiverton and junction 28 for Cullompton. The closure was first reported shortly before 7am and delays are building on the motorway. Inrix says: "One lane closed and heavy traffic due to emergency repairs on M5 southbound from J27 A361 (Tiverton) to J28 A373 Honiton Road (Cullompton / Service Area).

Four people have been taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital (RVH) in Belfast following a six-vehicle crash on the M5, the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) said. None of those taken to hospital are believed to have life threatening injuries,
