With a final episode aired Sunday, Oct. 6, the CBS Studios military drama SEAL Team has come to a close. Read on for a series finale recap.

After seven seasons of high-stakes missions, SEAL Team wrapped up the story of the elite Bravo unit of Navy SEALs led by Jason Hayes ( David Boreanaz) and the toll that combat takes on the warriors who defend America, while reflecting on the idea that “war always has the last word.”

The SEAL Team series finale pulled off a miraculous end with little time, allowing us to imagine a happy future for our beloved Bravo team.
