McLaren's New W1 supercar takes inspiration from a family of iconic cars, but also sets new benchmarks for the high-speed car brand.

McLaren has produced many high-performance vehicles over the years but none have been able to compare to its hypercar family.

The new hyper hybrid hits 1,258 bhp, is limited to 217 mph, has DRS and an airbrake, and can come to a halt from 124 mph in just 100 meters. Yet none of this is the car’s real party piece.
