A 28-year-old woman was injured after being struck by a vehicle on northbound Interstate 5 in Seattle on Sunday.

The WSP report said a bus was in the first of five lanes when a pedestrian walked from the right shoulder into traffic and right in front of a bus. In an attempt to avoid hitting the woman, the bus tried to merge into the third lane, but there was a Kia Sorrento there.

The bus was headed northbound on I-5 when the woman walked out into the roadway. The bus, which was traveling in the right lane, attempted to move over to avoid hitting the woman,
