With All Elite Wrestling shifting to a shorter schedule following the end of AEW Rampage, Tony Khan opened up about what it could mean for the company. The December 27 episode of AEW Rampage was the last edition of the show for the foreseeable future.

Tony Khan said that he’s unable to comment on the recent allegations against All Elite Wrestling‘s legal team that Jamie Hawn made. During a recent media call for AEW Worlds End, Khan was asked about the allegations,

December 27th will go down as a consequential day in AEW history, as it marks the final edition of Rampage before the show goes off the air in 2025. That’s right, the fastest hour in professional wrestling was not included in the promotion’s new media rights deal with Warner Bros.

However, with the launch of Collision in June 2023, which became AEW's secondary flagship program, and the cancellation of the company's YouTube shows (Dark and Elevation), Rampage had gradually shifted focus to featuring younger and mid-to-lower card talent, essentially taking on the role once held by the YouTube programs.
