A man has been charged after drugs worth almost £300,000 were recovered in Aberdeenshire. Police Scotland officers made the discovery at a property in the Birch Drive area of Inverurie following reports of a possible cannabis cultivation on Monday night.

A man has been charged with cultivating cannabis after police found hundreds of plants growing at a site on an industrial estate. Officers used a warrant to seize about 330 cannabis plants on the estate off Park Lane in Wolverhampton on Tuesday. West Midlands Police said that all of the plants would be destroyed by its cannabis disposal team.
