Ryan Dunn, Phoenix Suns and Clippers
Phoenix Suns superstar forward Kevin Durant and rookie Ryan Dunn are both available for Wednesday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves at Footprint Center to end a three-game homestand. Durant was previously listed as questionable with a left thumb injury while Dunn was also listed questionable with a left ankle sprain.
Phoenix, who has won eight of its past 11 games, will greatly miss Dunn against the Clippers' dynamic offensive duo of James Harden and Kawhi Leonard. Los Angeles has a pretty clean injury report with Kris Dunn (left knee injury management), Cam Christie (left ankle sprain) and Jordan Miller (illness) all listed as out.
"Obviously I’m a player so I’m trying to play but it’s not up to me,” Dunn said.
The Phoenix Suns are expected to use another new starting lineup in Monday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers after ruling out key player.
Phoenix Suns' Royce O'Neale had 11 points and the team-high four steals as a starter in their 111-109 win over the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday.
For those still holding onto optimism regarding the Phoenix Suns' chances at becoming a contender this season, they continue to test your faith.
Ryan Dunn was ruled out prior to tip-off due to an ankle sprain suffered early in Phoenix's victory over the Washington Wizards, so the Suns had to adapt once again. Head coach Mike Budenholzer opted to keep the same starting lineup intact that contributed to the victory over the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday.
Kevin Durant scored a game-high 33 points and Devin Booker produced 28 with eight assists but the Phoenix Suns fell to the Minnesota Timberwolves, 121-113, on Wednesday. The loss snapped Phoenix's three-game win streak and extended Minnesota's win streak to four.
The Suns listed All-Star Kevin Durant as questionable to play in Wednesday's home game against the Timberwolves due to a left thumb injury.
The Phoenix Suns (24-21) play the final of their homestand against the Minnesota Timberwolves (25-21) on Wednesday.
For the Suns, they need Durant in the lineup to continue their recent hot streak. Phoenix has won three consecutive games and eight of their last 10 contests. They now sit eighth in the Western Conference standings with a 24-21 record after falling all the way to 12th in the standings.
