The Jets cornerback didn’t only watch Vikings star receiver Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison and quarterback Sam Darnold. He went as far back Darnold’s time with the Jets to see what he could pick up that would help him. Something definitely stood out to Gardner after seeing old film of Darnold.

Durant went on to praise Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold, who’s been able to revive his career in Minnesota. Through four games, Darnold has thrown for 932 yards, a league-leading 11 touchdown passes and just three interceptions while completing 69% of his passes this season while leading the Vikings to a 4-0 start to the season.

As Sam Darnold prepares to play the team that drafted him, he doesn't blame the Jets and says he had "a lot of opportunities in New York."
