No. 9 Michigan State defended its home court once again on Saturday, this time against Oregon. Junior center Carson Cooper continued to get it done on the boards and was nearly perfect from the free-throw line.

Michigan State led by as many five before Oregon went on a 13-3 run while staying hot from deep. Then Brandon Angel and Shelstad knocked down a pair of triples on consecutive trips down the floor and Izzo called timeout with the Ducks up 40-30 with 3:29 left in the half.
