Barcelona will be taking La Liga to court yet again after the league has ruled that Dani Olmo and Pau Victor can't be registered until the summer due to Barcelona not having enough space under the La Liga salary cap following the expiration of their injury exemptions.

La Liga and the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) have formally rejected Barcelona's request to re-register both Dani Olmo and Pau Victor in their squad for the remainder of the season. The pair's initial registrations expired on December 31 and Barcelona failed to raise the required funds to re-register both Olmo and Victor before the deadline.
