Nintendo has commented on the various Switch 2 mockups and photos that have leaked in recent days, insisting they are not official.

Throughout most of last year, it was business as usual in Switch 2 leak land. A few details emerged in reports sourced from behind-closed-doors meetings with Nintendo’s partners, and a pretty complete, if hazy, picture of the console’s form and features was built up: the magnetic Joy-Cons, the AI-assisted upscaling tech, the backward compatibility.

A third-party maker of gaming accessories created a mockup of Nintendo's next video game console, the Switch 2, and is showing off features Nintendo has yet to announce, including an optical sensor and a new controller button.
