Hillsborough County, including Tampa, Clearwater and St. Petersburg, are in the forecast path of Hurricane Milton, which could rapidly intensify into a dangerous, life-threatening major hurricane.

Hurricane Milton quickly intensified Sunday and is on track to become a major hurricane with the Tampa Bay area in its sights, putting Florida on edge and triggering evacuation orders along a coast still reeling from Helene’s devastation.

Bottom line is nothing good is going on with Milton today and this could become one of the most devastating one-two statewide punches of all time.
