Taylor’s ankle was twisted by Pittsburgh safety DeShon Elliott at the end of Sunday’s 21-carry, 88-yard performance, and the Colts running back wasn’t able to get back into the game. The Colts held Taylor out of practice on Wednesday, and it sounded like he was headed in that direction again Thursday.

His teammate Jonathan Taylor exited earlier with an ankle injury. Packers receiver Christian Watson also suffered a high ankle sprain against the Vikings.
