Officials said Wednesday afternoon they were securing a perimeter in north Houston in connection to the terrorist attack in New Orleans.

The FBI confirmed early Friday that agents discovered "precursor chemicals" after returning to the north Harris County home of New Orleans terrorist attack suspect Shamsud Din-Jabbar. Precursor chemicals can refer to chemicals used to make explosives.
