NEW ORLEANS ( WGNO) — A house fire in Algiers Point left four people displaced on Saturday, Oct. 12. The New Orleans Fire Department reported that crews responded to a home on Vallette Street around 9:06 p.m. At the scene, firefighters found a two-story, wood-framed house that contained three apartment units on fire.

Four people were displaced after a multi-unit home in Algiers Point caught fire on Saturday night, the New Orleans Fire Department said. New Orleans firefighters were called to 105 Vallette Street in Algiers around 9 p.m., where a two-story, wood-framed building that contained multiple units was ablaze.
