Israel expanded its bombardment in Lebanon, hitting Beirut’s southern suburbs with airstrikes and striking a Palestinian refugee camp in northern Lebanon.

Israel's military told residents of more than 20 towns in south Lebanon to evacuate their homes immediately on Thursday as it pressed on with cross-border incursions and struck Hezbollah targets in a suburb of Beirut.

In a separate strike, 18 people were killed in the West Bank city of Tulkarm, where the Israeli military said it had targeted the regional head of Hamas.
