WEBRei has 3 sections to it's website (It used to be 2), Normal for new merchandise, outlet for sale items and clearance, and used for used items. I know that the majority of used items get resold in garage sales in the store they were returned to but they now sell some popular used items through the used section.

It won't jump from clearance to outlet unless REI is going to stop carrying it. 50% off is a friggen good deal. Jump on it before your size is gone.

WEBREI sends two coupons for registered members. One for a single regular item and one for the outlet. There are exemptions/restrictions. The OUTLET coupon is for items in the online outlet store price ending in 0.73 only. Some items are not eligible but I have tried like 10 different items to see if the discount applies and nothing seems to work.
